This program is the foundation of The McQuaig System. Participants will attain a solid understanding of how to use The McQuaig System™ to create job profiles, select, motivate, coach, develop and retain talent. They will learn best practices for incorporating assessment into the Talent Management Process.
Participants will acquire the know-how to use:

• The McQuaig Word Survey® overview to measure job-fit and integrating The McQuaig System™ into the interview process.
• Best practices for administering The McQuaig System™ and providing feedback.
• McQuaig Data for retaining talent, building effective teams, improving the onboarding process, motivating employees, managing conflict & improving communication.
• The McQuaig Self-Development Survey® for deeper self-awareness and making the most of the individual's strengths and understanding of developmental areas.

Learning Outcomes
Maximizing Your Personal Effectiveness is a one-day seminar that helps participants build on the powerful self-knowledge gained by completing The McQuaig Self-Development Survey™. Participants will come away with a detailed action plan to encourage improved job performance, increased job satisfaction and greater success for their current roles along with a realistic appreciation for the changing demands of future career opportunities.
As a participant, you will:
• Gain insight into your personal strengths and developmental areas
• Apply your understanding of your individual behavioural traits to practical, on-the-job situations
• Identify several key actions you can take back to work and start on immediately
• Ensure that your action plan is aligned to your organization’s goals

Learning Outcomes
The goal of this program is to provide participants with practical, easy-to-use tools to help them assess candidates more objectively. The focus is on Behaviour-based Interviewing, which has been shown to be 3-5 times more effective than the traditional interview.
Participants will learn how to:
• Determine critical behaviours and interview questions for a specific job
• Use past behaviour as a predictor of future performance
• Conduct legally defensible interviews
• Link reference checks to critical job behaviours
• Get beyond the prepared responses of the well-coached candidate
• Understand the Key Job Requirements (hard & soft skills) using the McQuaig Job Analysis™
• Effectively document and score the interview using The McQuaig Interview Guide™
• Use the candidate's data-driven behaviour-based questions and probes, as generated by the McQuaig Job Analysis™
• Incorporrate twenty-one interviewing tips
Learning Outcomes
Participants will better understand the factors that help new teams gel and enable dysfunctional teams to become more productive. They will learn how to create team synergy by better understanding of personality styles, individual roles and team functioning. By taking the team through a process of self-assessment using The McQuaig Self-Development Survey®, the team will recognize and understand their natural strengths as well as the gaps they need to address to gauge their own effectiveness and thereby improve performance.
At the conclusion of this program, participants will:
• Understand 7 key components of effective teams.
• Understand yourself and others on the team as it relates to personality styles and team functioning.
• Gain insight into your work-related strengths, developmental areas and how it impacts your relations with other team members.
• Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of your team.
• Identify several key actions you will take to leverage your strengths and manage your developmental areas back on the job.
